First of all, let me say it was my pleasure to be a part of this father-son fishing trip. Rick Simeone from Ortley Beach, NJ booked this trip for he and his son Sonny. Sonny flew in from Chicago to vacation with his dad in Orlando. We started off the day great with bass blasting wild shiners in shallow water, on the surface. As the sun came up, we caught 'em on rattle traps and Team Diawa vibration lures. Since the morning fishing was so good, and it was getting hot by noon, we decided to break this trip up to two half days. Boy, are we glad we did! The first fish of the next morning was this 10 pound + giant, caught by Rick on a 10 inch wild shiner. Rick did a great job landing this fish, while Sonny took action photos.
